“BEQ” (Bokros Electric Quartet)
Founded by guitarist Andreas Bokros in late 2021, the project was created to explore new compositional ideas and the possibilities of a quartet setting. BEQ creates music where the written and arranged meets the open and improvised. The music is inspired by classic fusion bands from the 70s and 80s but strives for a contemporary sound by incorporating concepts from some of Andreas' favorite composers, such as J.S. Bach, O. Messiaen, and modern guitarist Mike Moreno.
